Help - I am trying to create charts for on my computer.
I have Micorsoft windows XP home edition that has Power
Point, Excell, Word etc. Which program is best for
creating charts and graphs? I need someone to point me
to the right program and then hopefully I will figure out
how to create them. Thanks!

Would depend on what you wanted to chart/graph.

Excel is a very good tool for number-crunching and can be used as a basic
database tool.

Access is a database program with some number-crunching capabilities.

Either of these will interact with the other.

Power Point is used mainly for presentation of charts/graphs that have been
built using other Office programs like Excel or Access.

For basic(and some not-so-basic) graphing of numbers and data I would use
Excel with its Pivot Tables and Filtering features which give control of your
numbers and data.

Here are a couple of good sites on charts/graphs to get you started.

Also you may want to check the Excel charting NG.
