I am trying to create a chart for data that is on two
different tabs within the workbook. Has anyone had any
success with this or is it a limitataion of Excel?
Thanks in advance!

why not?
Just make your chart for the first and then
source data>series>add>select or type in

I have one series that spans two worksheets within the
same workbook. I try to use the control key to highlight
however, it does not allow.

For example. Weekly data Jan - Jun is on one tab, Jul
through Aug is on another tab. Can't seem to make one
series in a chart. Due to internal limitations, can't
put all weeks on the same tab.

I can only think of an idea if you wanted week 1,2,3,4 from each month added
together to get total of week 1 for each month, total for week 2, etc. This
could be done by naming a range
=sheet1!$b$1:$b$3+sheet2!$b$1:$B$3

AFAIK the other would have to be consolidated somewhrere before charting.
Mabye John or someone else can help
