Hello,

I'm trying to make a chart from a pivot table, but only
from certain colunms within that table. Therefore I made a
second table next to it that just equals the pivottable.
From that second table, I made the charts I wanted. If I
change the pivottable, the second table changes equally,
as does the chart. So far so good.

The problem is when the pivottable becomes shorter if due
to a selection in the variables because there are less
results to show. These changes results in a second table
from which the last rows have no values and the chart
which does not adapt itself to the changing data source
and thus giving the last values to be zero.

How can I make the data source of a chart to be
interactive with the changes in the pivottable? Or how can
I make sure that the data source of a chart changes with a
data source wich has grown or diminished?

I would very much appriciate any help.

Thanks,

Lenin,

Yes, I have tryed to use a pivotchart, but you can not
change the data source within the pivotshart. I have to
much data in one pivottable so I need three charts to make
it easily visible. If you work with pivotcharts and
select some variables on the chart, the pivottable changes
as well. This I do not want because if other people use
this spreadsheet, they will not be able to reconstruct the
pivottable.

Thanks for the link. I think I've found the solution with
Dynamic Named Range
