Chart Background color

I can change the default colors for fills and lines in excel charts. This is done by going through Tools:Options:Color. If you want to make the colors default in all new workbooks, you simply save the template in the XLStart folder, under Office11.

I want to change the default background color of charts in a similar way. How do I do that

How do I change the default font color, the default line weight, and the default axis color

You could create your own custom chart type. Jon Peltier has
