BILL K.

I use Microsoft Word and have a need to change the default
front from Times Roman to Ariel.

Have checked all the HELP that I intend to check and
wonder if anyone out there could send me two pieces of
info:

1. How do I make a permanent change to Ariel?

2. What is the best place (or book) to find the kind of
instructions non-IT professional people need every day?

Thanks

To change the default font to Ariel, do the following:
1. Open a blank document
2. Click on the Format menu, and select Font...
3. Change the font to Ariel
4. At the bottom of the window, before you click on OK,
click on the Default... button.
By clicking on the Default button, it changes the
Normal.dot to your specifications. You can also change
your font size, paragraph options, margins and so forth
by following similar steps.

And DON'T FORGET to answer Yes to the prompt to save changes to normal.dot
when closing Word.
