Hello

Is there any program I can use to change word art into a graphic file
which I can insert into a web page. I figured out a rather convoluted
way of doing this, but I would like something more straightforward.
( I used MS word to create the word art, then saved as PDF file, then
cut copied and pasted the image from the PDF to my webpage)Just a little
too time consuming.

As previously discussed in other posts, one way to do this, is to insert the
word art, then take a screenshot (screen capture - 'PrtScr' key) then paste
(Ctrl-V) that into your image editor and crop it to size. Then save it as
necessary (jpg, gif etc). Repeat the action if you need to change the
graphic, as you can't make an editable copy in the graphics editor, since it
was created as WordArt in the first place.

You can of course use whatever4 editor you use - Paintshop Pro, Photoshop,
IrfanView etc to do basic editing, cropping and saving the file.

Alternatively, find a copy of Image Composer, which I think natively
supports WordArt directly in the application.
(MIC came with FP98/2000).

Creating a PDF file is unnecessary, just take the screen capture and paste
into your graphics editor - it doesn't make the WordArt 'editable' in that
editor, but at least you can save it as a JPG or GIF.

Copy the word art and paste it into a graphics program (such as paintshop or
photoshop etc) then save it as a .GIF file and import that image into your
web.
