Hello !
One of my friends has asked me to help with a problem and I need some help ?
When she installs palm it works fine until she reboots at which time hotsync
gives an error 8009 which from my investigations turns out to be a registry
error. I believe the issue is that the administer level access is lost.
This computer has a "company" configuration ghosted on it and a couple of
years ago an outside firm was hired to put the ghost of 2000 on it, at that
time the person must have set up the administer but now no one knows who
that person is. I can reghost but I would prefer not to because of all the
other installations that I would have to do.
Is there a way to delete the administer and allow a new one ?
Thanks &
Take Care
Roy
