changing user privileges from administrator to guest removed every

How do I recover 400MB of outlook data file which has vanished and 200MB of
word docs which disappeared when I changed user privileges on an account from
administrator to guest - no warning was given - the same user name and
password were created and no duplicate profile with username.001 was
generated.
I'm desperate fro any help - recovery specialists calim to recovered abot 70
word docs of which 75% are corrupted but no .pst files.

It is a property of members of the "Guests" group that profiles
are deleted at logoff time. Your best bet for recovery is to restore
the missing files from your backup medium. The alternative is to
use a recovery tool. You must install it on some other machine,
then install the problem disk as a slave disk on that machine.
