Hi,

In large documents I have the problem that the slider in the scroll bar
becomes very thin and difficult to handle with the touch pad. Therefore
I would like to change the minimum allowable length of the slider. How
can this be done?

In Desktop/prob/appearence I can change the size of the scroll bar but
that is not what I want. The scroll bar as it is takes up enough space
on my 12.1".

Cheers for any help,
Martin

I don't know of any way to change the size of the elevator button in the
scroll sidebar or the size of the scrollbar itself. On my tablet PC, I
generally use the page up/page down keys or one of the arrow keys to
navigate these windows. Some programs such as Word and Adobe Reader have a
button in the window frame that will advance the document a preset amount
(by page, half page, etc).

Email and newsreaders: Space bar will usually advance these screens -
similar to using the page down key.
