I'd like to set my home page to the blank page and I don't
know how to or where to go to make the changes. The
window pops up saying that I need to see the system admin,
(who is me)
can anybosy help me go in the right direction in this
matter? I do have the Win2K resource kit installed as
well.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Administrators can set a user's default home page by using the
Windows 2000 Group Policies snap-in in Microsoft Management Console
(MMC). You must first add the snap-in to MMC:

1. Click Start, click Run, type "mmc" (without the quotation marks),
and then click OK.

2. On the Console menu, click "Add/Remove Snap-in".

3. Click Add.

4. Click Group Policies, and then click Add.

5. Local Computer should be selected. Click Finish.

After you have added the Group Policies snap-in, navigate to the
following location to administer a default home page:

User Configuration\Windows Settings\Internet Explorer Maintenance\
URLS\Important URLS\Customize Home Page URL

and set the home page to about:blank.
