I've tried and tried to change my home page via Tools>Internet
Options>Use Current but it just doesn't work. Is there any secret to
doing this?

TIA,
David Schwartz

When you click 'use curren't does the website in the box change to the
current one?
If so are you clicking 'apply'?

Is the home website something that you never went to. i.e.
adware/spyware has changed your home page

Hi David :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, which really is a
must when asking for help in the newsgroups, but, do the following to fully
clean your system.

Download and install HiJackThis. This is one of the most important steps.
Follow all instructions carefully. This program should be run in Normal
mode.

I don't think that's the case. The home page I can't change is MSN (a
fairly reputable site) and I maintian very clean machines re viruses,
spyware, and malware.

Any other thoughts?
