Changing The Home Page of Internet Explorer

Hi, a weird thing happen to my com. Since i format my
computer and have a clean install of Windows XP Pro, I
figured out that, I wasnt able to change the homepage of
the internet exporer.. The homepage tab under the
internet options in internet explorer is dimmed, and i
wasn't able to change the default homepage of internet
explorer which is msnhome. What could possibly be the
problem of this?

Go to Start | Run and type

regedit

In Regedit, navigate to this key:

HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

In the right-hand pane, right-click the "HomePage" value, then select
Modify. Change it to: 00 00 00 00

When you reboot, you should be able to change the home page again.
