Are you specifying the new port when you try to connect?

For example, to connect to port 3391 on a computer with IP address
10.10.10.1, type the following information:

"10.10.10.1:3391" (without the quotation marks)

yes sir i am, when it was set to default 3389 it worked
like a champ. just tried to chnage it for more security,
even inside my router wont connect to other desktops, 5405
is an ok number to use isnt it.

Can you telnet from a client to the host on TCP port 5405?
If you open a command window on the host and type "netstat -ano" does it
show TCP 5405 as listening?
If you change the port back to 3389 and run "netstat -ano" does it still
show TCP 5405 as listening?

Make sure you have changed any port forwarding or firewall settings to
reflect this new port... :)
