Changing the default navigation pane

Every time Outlook 2003 opens, the navigation pane defaults to the "Mail" tab. Is there a way to change that default? For example, I would rather have it automatically display the contents of the "Shortcuts" pane than the "Mail" pane, when I open the program.
I've only been playing with 2k3 for a couple of hours now, but if there is a place to customize that, I haven't been able to find it yet.
thanks

Go into the registry to
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\WunderBar]
Set the bootmodule to 6. Make sure you have a shortcut to your Inbox in the
list or it won't work

Thanks.
I found the key in the registry, but it was already set to 6 (and it setup a
shortcut to my Inbox automatically when I installed).
What does this key control exactly?

I've found a couple references to this for the beta version, but it doesn't
seem to have any affect on my install of Outlook 11.
5 shows the folder list, but every other value seems to bring up the mail
pane. Has anyone else tried this with a final version?

thanks

This is the final version 'm talking about. The shortcut pane comes up
perfectly when you have a shortcut to your default inbox (under Outlook
Today)

Hmm.... weird.
I couldn't get it to work at all yesterday. Today, I deleted the shortcut
to my inbox and then recreated a shortcut to the same (and only) inbox, and
suddenly it works.
Oh well... as long as it's working.

thanks

You're welcome! Good to hear it's working for you now to. This could be
because it is a migrated shortcut from the Outlook Bar of a previous version
of Outlook.
