is there a way to change th format of a movie mad with windows movie maker ot
a gif animation..i use windows movie maker for makign animation

yes, there are utilities that can convert the WMV or DV-AVI files saved by
Movie Maker into other formats... what formats do you want to change it from
and to?

gif animations...the wmv movies r made of 20 to 40 clips of jpeg
i am willing to download an appliction to convert it as long as its free
but i would like a wide wrange of conversions from wmv to other things as
long as it includes gif

I don't know any personally, but if you enter

convert wmv to gif

in Google, there are lots of hits, the first one being River Past Video
Cleaner software....
