Because of tech. problems I copied everrything on my computer on to floppy discs. As far as I know, I copied these in the usual way. However when reinstallikng text from the floppy discs back into the computer - a large document has changed from everyday English language to some type of gobbly-de-gook! It now looks as though there are pages and lines of 000 and some numbers and some sort of YYYY looking letters. I typed it in word and saved it and then later had to transfer it to a floppy disc - what have Idone wrong and can anyone out there help me to get my document back into plain English, please
Thank you

Have you tried copying the file to the hard disk then entering Word and
using theOpen > Files of type (pop down menu) > "Recover Text from Any file"
feature. Its worth a try.

The document is corrupt. This is not surprising if you tried to open it from
a floppy. Don't ever save directly to or open directly from any kind of
removable media.
