changing text and background color

My 2.1 version is not giving me the option to change text color. I know it
should be in editing text....but it is just not there. What the program is
giving me is dark grey on bright blue...basically it can not be read.

PLEASE HELP ME...TRYING TO MAKE A VIDEO FOR THE BOYS I VOLUNTEER WITH AT AN
ORPHANAGE IN HONDURAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you have the 'Enter Text for Title' screen
open...is it possible that you need to scroll down
slightly to reveal the 'Edit the title text' option?
