How do you change the spacing between bars in a bar graph
without changing the width of the bars. In other words I
want to remove some of the space between bars.

Please respond directly to my email address if this is OK
rom this newsgroup.

Is this what you mean? Double click on one series, and click on the
Options tab. Change the Gap Width from 150 to 100, and change the
Overlap to -30. This keeps the bars about the same width, but adds
space between bars within the cluster, and reduces the gap between clusters.

You can reduce the gap width, but that will change the width of the
columns. To change the gap width:

1. Select a column
2. Choose Format>Selected Data Series
3. On the Options tab, reduce the gap width
4. Click OK
