Changing "Sharing" status

How do you change the Sharing properties of a folder, and ALL subfolders?

Right-clicking on the folder, selecting properties, allows you to change
Sharing one-by-one. I want to do the folder and all its subfolders. By the
way, I have no idea how the folder in question was set to "No sharing".

Click on the Security tab and then the Advanced button. You will see where
you can set child folders to inherit permissions from the parent.
