The search button on my XP toolbar goes to Yahoo Search when I click on it.
Can anyone tell me how to change it. The magnifying glass hot button on my
eMachine laptop does the same. I'd like to get them changed to google if
possible. If you can help me with either or both problems i'd appreciate it.
Thanks

I'm not exactly clear on exactly which "XP toolbar" we're talkin 'bout here,
but if you install an IE toolbar, e.g. Yahoo or Google toolbars they will
give you an option to search for terms by just typing them into the address
toolbar in IE. Is that what you mean? In that case you just have to go
into the vendor toolbar's options and turn the feature off. Or you can just
remove the offending toolbar.
Damo!

I meant to say the bar at the top of Microsoft Internet Explorer. I
apologize but i am very old new at this and not the brightest star in the
universe by any means. At the top of my Microsoft Internet Explorer Page it
starts with a back button with a green arrow pointing left, then a gray arrow
pointing right, the a red X, then a house , and then a search button witha
magnifying glass which I'd like to have go to google not yahoo when I click
