Changing SCSI drivers after imaging

Sorry if anyone sees this a second time, but I have not
seen my first post.

I just ghosted a new Dell 650 with my Windows 2000 image
but the 650 has a scsi drive that is not in my sysprep
drivers folder and is telling me that it cannot boot
because of an inaccessible_boot_device. Does anyone know
how I can boot with a floppy to Windows on the drive using
scsi drivers on the floppy? Or perhaps I can edit the
sysprep folder on the drive using WinPE?

Thanks

From the machine that you MADE the ghost image, install the drivers,
then re-ghost it.

Yeah, that would be the way to go normally, buy my
management is adamant about not wanting a new ghost image
created since we have so many levels of review to go
through to release a new one and it is only for five or
six clients.

Thanks however.

Bret,

Create a boot disk.
301680 HOW TO: Create a Boot Disk for an NTFS or FAT Partition in Windows

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=301680

Basically, create a disk with the boot.ini, ntldr, ntdetect.com and your
scsi controller driver. Make sure you rename the scsi driver to
ntbootdd.sys. Once you are in the system, load the appropriate drivers.

HTH,

Daniel

Yeah, I had tried that already and I still get the
inaccessible_boot_device. Any more ideas? Or any way to
troubleshoot the floppy?

Thanks,
Bret
