When I click an attachment in mail on Outlook Express, I get an option to
"Save To" certain folders, such as "My Documents". I usually save to a
different folder. I have to browse to it each time.

Is there any way to make the "Save To" window offer me my chosen folder
without browsing to it each time ?

Create a shortcut to the folder on your taskbar, drag the attachment to the folder.
Quick and simple...

Open Registry Editor and go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\<Your Identity>\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0
You will see a CLSID in place of <Your Identity>

NOTE: Locate the appropriate Outlook Express identity by selecting a CLSID [if you have more than one] and looking at the "Username" value in the right-pane

In the right pane, change the value for "Save Attachment Path" to the folder you want. Here is where the attachments will be saved [default].
