Changing program owner's name?

Am passing current PC down to my daughter. Using this:

I can change XP's registered owner name from me to her. Question is how can
I change the registered owner name of the various software installed?

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Highlight the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key and the click Edit, Find and enter the old owner's name. Change it where you find it.
