Changing printer properties

I need to change paper size in printer properties, but
everytime I right click on the printer icon, I get a
message saying Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to shut down. How do I get around this?

I've got the same (or similar) problem; I can't access

the printer properties thru the Icon or thru settings or
the control panel. I can do it from within the program
from which I want to print but of course the change isn't
permanent.
If you find a solution outside this forum I'd appreciate
it if you'd let me know.
 
I am having the same problem have you been able to find a
fix or work around I am suspecting an auto update may be
the cause, what do you think?
