L Leo Heuser Sep 11, 2003 #2 1. Enter -1 (negative one) in a cell, e.g. H34 2. Select H34 and copy it (<Ctrl>c for instance) 3. Select the range of figures. 4. Choose Edit > Paste special and choose "Multiply" OK. 5. <Esc> (to cancel the selection) -- Best Regards Leo Heuser MVP Excel Followup to newsgroup only please.

Put the number -1 in a spare cell and copy it. Select your numbers and use Edit > Paste Special > Operation, multiply. (The -1 can now be deleted.)
