Changing Parallel Port I/O Address

Is there a tool or registry hack to override the PNP setting for the parallel
port I/O address. I have a PCI card with a serial and parallel port on it.
The parallel port comes in at DF00 and the serial port comes in at E000. I
need to swap those so the parallel port uses E000 to match software.

I have a similar problem and am wondering if you ever found a solution? I'm trying to send TTL signals via parallel port from a Dell XPS running Vista Home Premium. The parallel port range comes in at DF00-DF07 but this range does not match software. Does anyone know how to override the address range in VISTA? Thanks for your help.

You can't write directly to, or read from, hardware ports in XP ot Vista
