How do I make page 4, page 2 and page 2, into page 3 and
so on? Any help appreciated. Thanks

If you want to reorganize your pages, you'll need to use
cut and paste. If you have a large number of pages, a
macro might make the job easier for you. (I can't help you
with the details, but I'm sure that someone else has the
answer.)

On the other hand, if what you want is simply to select a
starting number other than 1 for your page numbers, then
you can do the following: Display headers and footers
(View>Header and footer). If you haven't already inserted
a page number, click the Page Number button of the
Header/Footer toolbar. In order to set a starting number,
simply click the Format page number button on the same
toolbar; make sure you select the desired starting number.
When you're done, click OK.

Hope this helps...
