changing outlook security zone

there have been several newsgroup postings ( not just on MS) about outlook
slow when writing an email. the fix is reported to be changing the security
zone from restricted to internet. question 1: is this the best answer to
resolve the problem? I had set this for 1 user and she saw alot of
improvement, but the setting later reverted to the restricted zone and the
problem returned. question 2: why did it revert to restricted? question 3:
this setting is not part of the adm/group policy settings for office 2003,
nor is it part of the ciw tool. how can i set this for an entire domain
without alot of walking around to each computer/profile
 
no, that is not the best fix. How many items are in your restricted zones?
Removing them is usually better. Using Word as the editor should also help.
