Hello, its me again, How do I change the color of my form outline which
shows red, 'cos it clashes with my color scheme! Can this be done?

Forms don't have an outline color. Do you mean the dashed lines you see in
design view? If so, those won't appear when you look at your site in the
browser. If you mean something else can you post a URL so we can see it?

Thanks David, The dashed lines do show on my browser. I do not have a URL
yet, should I? Are my ' L ' plates showing? ML

Post a sample of the HTML code for the page/form you're asking about to this
newsgroup. In the page with the problem go to the Code View (click the tab
at the foot of the screen).

Copy the code between the <form> and </form> tags into a (reply) message to
this thread, and send it to the newsgroup...

Since you don't have the live site set up, we can't see what you're
describing, so David Berry requested you post the "problem" code so he can
decipher where the problem might be. We can't help you much more than we
already have by advising you that forms shouldn't have the outline you
describe, when viewing the form in a proper browser.

If you view the form (preview in browser) do the lines still show around the
form? The dotted outline in the design view just indicates the form on the
screen in a visual way, so you know where it begins and ends.

Hi Mary. Open the page in FrontPage and switch to "Code View". Do a Select
All (CTRL + A) and copy all the code then paste it into a post.

Since forms don't have outlines something else must be causing the issue and
because there's no place on the web we can go to see it we need to see the
HTML code to be able to help you.

My thinking is that there's either a stylesheet on the page that's causing
the outline or you've put the form inside of a table with the borders turned
on but I can't be sure without seeing the page.

It might be better if she posts all the code on the page in case it's
something outside of the <form> </form> tags that's causing it, such as a
stylesheet or table with borders turned on.
