Changing nudge settings?

We have a template in which the nudge movement is really
small, like when using Ctrl-nudge (when you do use Ctrl-
nudge it doesn't make any different to the amount of
movement in this particular template).

Is there a way of changing the default distance of the
nudge setting?

It sounds like your Grid is set to 1/24th of an inch. Go to View > Grid and
Guides and set your Grid to a larger increment.

Sonia's Grid and Guides option will help with PPT 2002. You didn't
mention which version you're using, though.

You might also check Draw/Snap and see if that's turned on. Turn it off
and your nudges will be smaller.
