Following advise from a Best Practices guide, I attempted
to change the name and password for the default
user "administrator". The change did not seem to "take",
so I put things back the way they were.
I can login to the domain as "administrator" from a
client workstation w/o problem. When I attempt to login
as "administrator" at the server console, I merely get a
blue screen, requiring the server to be rebooted. However,
if left alone, all server functionality is normal, ie,
other users can login, print jobs work, etc. All domain
admins have no problems with access rights, etc.
I have run the error checking applet on all volumes
after a restart.
Any other suggestions?
