Hi. I recently bought a new computer and added my full
name on of the first screens promted. Now, when I open
files or files are sent to the Documents and Settings
folder my full name appears. It appears as the following:

C:Documents and Settings/John Doe/My Documents...

I would really like to NOT have my name, John Doe, for
example, to not be seen in this directory. Can you
please tell me how I can go about changing this issue and
resolving this problem. Can you please email a reponse
back at (e-mail address removed) so I can follow your
directions. Thank you.

Create a new user account so that the proper folder is created in
DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS. Logon to the new account and the logoff all
users and logon as the Administrator. In the Control Panel > System >
Advanced > User profiles > Settings you can now copy over the old
account to the new one.
Logon with the new account and test it. If all is well you can delete
the old accoung together with the unwanted folder in DOCUMENTS AND
SETTINGS. If you now change your username again, the folder name
remains unchanged (which is by design).
