I am trying to get Outlook 2003 to send some of my email correspondents replies from my new email address when they have written to me at my old but still-in-use email address

How do I change which of my email addresses and identities my email reply is going to use? There does not seem to be an easy answer

When typing a reply to someone else's email in Outlook 2003, a grey information bar at the top of my reply informs me: "this email will be sent via (the email address they used to write to me)". This also seems to determine which signature will automatically be applied to the bottom of my email message. This grey info bar sits on the screen below the Outlook/Word toolbars and above the email's "FROM:" address field

Thanks

LEO

It's actually quite easy: You choose the sending account with the Accounts
drop-down list on the message toolbars.
