I have Vista and cannot send mail at all since November. I can receive it for
a few seconds than it stops but cannot send anyuthing. I installed my old
Hard Drive from my other computer and have emails, pictures and messages in
Outlook Express from my son who passed away a short while ago.

How can I get Outlook Express to open up instead of Windows Mail?

Even if I have to keep WE......can I still have Outlook Express on this
computer? Have I lost all these things from him?

Thank you,
Susan

You can't install Outlook Express on Vista.
What are the complete error messages?

You will have to backup your data and then format the C" drive and then
install a retail copy of WinXP that is not installed on any other machine.

Actually, there is a little more to it, since many of the computer makers
have not released XP drivers for their Vista computers. This is especially
true for laptops. Sometimes you can't go back.
