OK, I am going to try this group. I have been using MSN & OL Connector with
my e-mails. I already had Outlook set up for all my MSN e-mail accounts &
just recently added OL Connector. This works fine if you want to pay for a
subscription to read MSN/Hotmail in Outlook. I don't. Now I have a new
ISP & am trying to configure my NEW mail. (POP-3). First I uninstalled the
connector >>> Error. Outlook cannot open because in cannot find folders (or
something like that)>>> I did a system restore. Next I tried uninstalling
MSN >>> same thing>>>. System restore again. I then just added my new
account, test account checked out fine, but could not send/receive double
checked all the settings ect. still cannot send/receive with my new account.
The new account shows up in my list of e-mail accounts, but not in the
folder list. I want to get rid of MSN & Connector & use my new account.
How can I do this? Does Outlook need to be reinstalled?? I am not computer
illiterate, although I'm afraid I do not know all the "ins & outs" of
Outlook. Any suggestions appreciated.
