I have to change my IP address scheme to conform to company standards. Are
there any gotchas thats I have to worry about when I change the IP address of
the DNS servers and the domain controllers

Any help is appreciated.

if these are issued by DHCP then ensure you amend the DCHP config.

If entered manually on PC, you got a big job to do.

I am not worried about clients, those I will take care of with DHCP. My
concerns are DNS and Domain Controller. Those units do have static addresses.

In that case all you need to do, is on the DC go to the NIC TCP/IP
properties and update the DNS IP to the new server.

Then to test it, open a cmd prompt, and do and type nslookup. If you get the
name of the new DNS server your fine. to test type the name of a client PC
and see if the correct IP is returned. Then type exit to exit the nslookup
prompt.
