Changing info in a field

Hi there
Here is my problem. I would like to take a field that contains a 3
digit word, space space, 3 digit word. For example "F4M &X7". Is there
anyway I can delete one space of the spaces through Update Query? Your help
is much appreciated. I know that I can create another field by seperating
and then cancatenating. But that seems to much trouble. My table contains
over 200,000 records.
