Changing IE proxy settings - via links

Is it possible to change the IE proxy settings via a link?
(IE: like "make this my homepage").
I know that they can be reset via the tool - options ...... process, however
am wondering if there was a way I could 'code it together' to allow this to
be done with a single click?

Andrew unless the link installs some sort of active x or exe you cannot
change users settings via a hyperlink, that is an obvious security issue.

As for other suggestions, if you want users to use your server as a proxy
you could do something like <a
href="http://yoursite.com/page.aspx?http://www.aol.com

your asp site would obviously proxy the site for them
