Must have brain fade. I click on any icon, click properties, change icon
button, I don't have a large list to choose from. At most, one new choice. I
know I'm doing this wrong, but can't remember how to do it.

Thanks,
Bruce

In the Change Icon dialog box, click the Browse button and navigate to
different files to find a selection of icons. Most default XP icons are
found in
%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

Bruce,

Do you see the file in Windows Explorer at
C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll

Ronnie:

Sorry. Meant to post back, but forgot. For some reason when I did a search
for the file, it showed zero results. What I did was just kept clicking on a
bunch of icons til I found some with multiple choices. There was actually
more than one location. When I found what I was looking for, I copied and
pasted the address in the address box of the icon I wanted to change. Worked
fine.
Thanks for the help,

Bruce
