Changing Homepage??

Hi, I bought a Toshiba Satellite and my homepage is set
as toshiba.com right now. I'd like to change my homepage
and have tried all the options that would seemingly allow
me to do this but I still haven't figured out how to do
this.

Anyone know how?? I'd love to look at something more
interesting than toshiba.com every morning.

Control Panel/On the left in not already checked click 'Switch to classic
Veiw'/then go to internet options and enter the homepage you want where it
says.
 
now my problem is that the on the internet options
window, the section to set your home page is shaded so
that i can't change it. i can't figure out how to bring
it back and i don't understand why it wouldn't let me in
the first place.

help!
