For some reason whenever I reboot my IE homepage is changed. It does not
matter if I reset it in IE. The computer is configured as a web server. The
hosts file is set to read only. Can this problem be resolved through XP
security?

Thank you.

Hi Sharon,

Home Page Setting Changes Unexpectedly, or You Cannot Change your Home Page Setting

First priority: Download CWShredder and run it.

[Removes all CoolWebSearch variants]

Then, download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate the malware products.
IMPORTANT: Update Ad-Aware pattern files using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware
