I added a new hard drive to my computer and I want to rename the drive
letter to something else than what Windows XP named it... I know that you
got to go to "run" and type in something to get there.

Well if you insist on going start + run you can.... Start > Run > type
"%SystemRoot%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s" without the quotes > Click OK...
Really just Program files > Admin tools > Computer management is easier...

Head down to the Disk Management...
Right click on the drive you want to edit.
Change drive letter and path.

That should do it.
