Changing FROM line

My Outlook Express identifies me as ALVIN in the FROM
line.
I would like to change that to ALVIS permanently, but
have been unable to, it seems that the FROM line is read
only.
Any advice how to achieve the correction?

Hi
In your e-mail program try this: Tools/accounts/ choose your e-mail account,
and under General tab/User information, change your name in the 'name'
field.
(Same procedure for news-accounts as well)

Sorry for mistyping path under Tools selection
The correct path is: Tools/Accounts/ chose your e-mail account /Properties/
and under General tab/ user information, correct your name in the 'Name'
field
