Changing folder when Windows Explorer opens

When I run Windows Explorer, the Documents folder is open.

More often than not, I want something within c:\program files, so I have
to scroll to that. Counting the click to close Documents, it takes four
mouse clicks.

Can I set it to open Program Files, and show all the subfolders beneath
it? Perhaps a registry tweak or a freeware utility program?

Thanks to all of you.

One more thing. Windows Explorer now opens with, among other things,
the C: drive and all its folders in the left pane, and all the Program
Files subfolders in the right pane. That is, I get Program Files and
its 'arrow' in the left pane.

Is it possible to have all of whole root in the left pane -- that is,
starting with Desktop, c: has all of its folders shown (that's done
now), and the Program Files is broken down on the left side (as well as
in the right pane)?
