with the windows logo, and programs one is a folder with a program window in
it).

Ive tried the folder properties of the icon but these 2 folders dont have
the customise options

Hi Kelly,

I believe the OP wants to have unique icons for the "Windows" and "Program Files" folders.

Unique "Desktop.ini" files in each of those folders, perhaps?

Hi Jan,

Unique and separate can be achieved; however, I haven't worked in that area

liking). Will add it to my todo list and check. <w>

<LOL>

For me, your posts aren't threading. As in, your replies are replacing the
original post, but are included.

Customise another folder and copy the desktop.ini from that folder to windows. Make sure Windows is read only or system. Use Attrib in a command prompt.
