Changing file icons

How does one tell XP to associate a different icon with a certain type
of file? I know how to change the icon for one file, but what if you
want any file of a certain type to display another icon?

Hi,

Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types tab, you can change the associated
icons under advanced for the file type in question.
