Changing Field Data Types of Imported Data

Every since I have upgraded to Access 2003 I have not been able to change a
fields data type when importing data. In the past I could scroll through
the fields and click on the field I wanted to change, now it stays on the
first field no matter which field is selected. Any ideas

There appears to be a bug somewhere between WindowsXP and Access2003.
Are you running WinXP? If so, try changing the Theme to Classic
Windows instead of a named theme.

I am using XP and tried to go to Classic per you suggestion. Unfortunatly I
have the same result.
