Changing Drive Letter

I recently added an Iomega Zip Drive. It renamed my
current 'D' Hard Drive to 'G' and assigned itself to 'D'
drive. I now have a lot of info on my 'D' Hard Drive
that is unaccessable because it is saved as 'D' but the
drive is labelled 'G'. I tried following the steps in
changing hard drive letters but I get the
message "Windows cannot modify the drive letter of your
system volume or boot volume". I uninstalled the Iomega
Zip and would like to rename my hard drive back to 'D' so
that I can access the info. I operate on Windows XP.

Thanks anyone
