Hello,

We are upgrading our domain controller, and for a number
of reasons it will have to be a different domain name.
Is there any way to automate the process of joining
clients to the domain? Or do I have to go from system to
system and make the change?

Thanks in advance,

NathanD

Hello Nathan,

Are you upgrading to win2003?

If yes, using the domain Rename, you will only have to reboot your win2k,
winxp and win2003 twice for clients in renamed domain.

If you are upgrading to win2k, you can use the "netdom join" command. You
can place this command in a startup script, so that each client gets it.
