My Windows 2000 domain was built under a single-label DNS
name and I am beginning to run into problems with Windows
XP, 2003, and 2000 post sp4 computers dynamically
updating there registration. Instead of distributing a
registry hack to all my clients for to resolve this. I
would really like to change the DNS name of my Active
Directory domain to something natively supported under
Windows. I have read that this is possible during an
upgrade to 2003 Server but I am not ready to upgrade just
yet. Does anyone have information on changing the DNS
name of an existing Active Directory in Windows 2000???
